Ben "Finn" Finnegan is an affable, modern-day treasure hunter who is obsessed with finding the legendary 18th century Queen's Dowry--40 chests of priceless treasure that was lost at sea in 1715. In his quest, Finn has sunk everything he has, including his marriage to Tess Finnegan. Just as Tess has begun to rebuild her life, working aboard a mega-yacht owned by billionaire Nigel Honeycutt, Finn discovers a vital clue to the treasure's whereabouts. Much to Tess' consternation, Finn maneuvers himself aboard Nigel's yacht and, using his roguish charm, convinces the tycoon and his celebutante daughter, Gemma, to join him in the pursuit of the Spanish treasure. But, they are not the only ones after the prize. Finn's one-time mentor, Moe Fitch and a ruthless local gangster are intent on beating Finn to the prize. hide

It wouldn't matter if these two were making a doc**entary! I think it would be good even if it was about snakes, and I hate snakes! This movie was cute, and perfect for a night with 11-year-old twins on our family night. I don't think it was meant to be serious, but it was very entertaining... .and would be a good date movie, cause it has something for everyone.

What do the critics REALLY know about what the public likes?
I am glad I decided to take my family to see this movie! We all enjoyed it, had fun doing something together, were talking about it for days afterwards and recommended it to our friends and family. The cast was perfect, playing their part like it was specifically written for them and the movie location was absolutely breathtaking! There was enough action to keep the audience interested and the humor kept light so even the younger audience could understand it. A great movie to see if you want to spend a relaxing afternoon/eveni ng with the entire family!

this movie was pretty good.
i thought it was gonna be cute,
but it ended up being pretty violent.
altho ugh, is was funny,
and that is the important thing.
it wasnt as good as i expected, but it was still okay.

Matt and Kate work GREAT togehter.
i personally thought the movie was cute but some of the acting from the other charactiers needed alottt of help.. they made it kind of cheesey

Five star cast and a two star script. Perhaps this was written during the writers strike? Seems like it. This just dragged on from one hackneyed plot move to the next with no reprieve in sight. The popcorn was good, and that's about it.
